Wee Scottish Shops

A wee page to help our local economy and hopefully sell some lovely Scottish goods and things for a few people.

Tartan Rock – aye had a look at their site lovely goods and they are always adding more. They have two sites one for sterling and one in dollars.  They advise they will be adding more products and many cannot be bought anywhere else so worth a wee look if looking for original Scottish gifts.  Great customer service finally bought something from them the lovely thistle cufflinks and a bookmark as gifts for family members and they really loved them.  Very friendly and most items are free postage in the UK too woohoo – only books as they are heavy have been advised are charged postage – am thinking seriously about the walking books will definitely buy for a friend who loves walking tours.

Le Wooden Toy – Great customer service – we bought the wild west fort for our nephew who is 4 and into cowboys and indians.  Arrived very quickly and the box was huge as we thought it would be really small and thin wood.  But the cowboy fort is really well made of solid wood and looks like it will last ages.  Have another nephew so will definitely buy the castle for him as he is into knights and things and I would call these heirloom wooden toys as not only are they solid but also look great.  Our nephew and friends have been playing with it non stop for the last few months and enjoying themselves.

Promostamper – we needed a stamp in a hurry, as usual we were not organised and had run out of headed paper and it was a Saturday, they were very friendly when we emailed them and we picked up our stamp after paying online for the size on the same day and customer service was great.  We had a few proofs and kept changing our minds about the font then sent them the font we finally wanted and they did not charge us more – not only that but the price you see on their site includes VAT which meant we did not have a surprise at the checkout.  Definitely recommend them and if they don’t have what you want they can have it made within 3 days – working days though as they need to wait for stock to come in.  Now we don’t buy letterhead and just use the self-inking stamp saves us a lot of money.

Raw Honey – straight from the hive to your table their honey is not blended nor heated. They have nine different varieties all are yummy.
